Legions of angels are all on your side when you strive to live for Christ. Isn’t that amazing?
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And there’s a special painting that hangs in my bedroom. Whenever I lie down at night, I draw such comfort and courage from it. It’s a beautiful painting of a big, powerful angel standing guard over a child’s bed. He looks like a fierce angel, waiting and ready to ward off any dark spirit that dare encroach on that child. And the painting reminds me that there are, indeed, ministering spirits that have been sent by God to help protect and comfort me. And I love that! It’s like the story in 2Kings 6 where Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his fearful, anxious servant. Suddenly, the servant’s eyes were opened, and he saw a multitude of angels surrounding him and Elisha. And friend, the same is true for you. So, take heart. Draw comfort and courage from the fact that legions of angels; indeed, all of heaven is on your side as you strive to live for Christ.
