However your day is going, it is always a great day to praise God for his faithfulness!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and some days, well, they’re just not what you’d like them to be, right? Just the day before, things were so fantastic, and now you’re wondering if God is even there. We’re so prone to let our circumstances – whether good or bad – we are so inclined to let the situation of the day dictate our view of God. But time and again the Bible tells us that God is faithful. Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.” Oh, friend, Scripture alone should be our frame of reference for who the Lord really is, rather than our fickle circumstances. Today, whether the day is grand or gloomy, just remember it is always a great day to praise God that he is the faithful God, never changing. And that is the good news for today.
