Jesus’s love for children calls you to share his heart and kindness with every boy and girl you know.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Jesus loved children. We see it throughout the Gospels. In Mark 10, Jesus tells the disciples that you cannot get into God’s kingdom unless you accept it the way a child does. But Jesus not only expressed his love for children in words—but also through his works and miracles. Jesus healed the son of the official in Capernaum, He raised Jairus’ daughter from the dead, and he even fed five thousand people with fish and bread provided by a little boy. And because Jesus had such a heart for children, we ought to as well. Whether it’s your own child, your niece, nephew, or your little neighbor who plays outside—share the love of Jesus with a boy or girl you know. Reach out to them with a Bible story, a song or perhaps share with their parents about your church’s Awana or summer camp. Because God wants us to have a heart for his little ones as well.
