Sometimes it feels as though God is leading you to the “wrong” place – but let him guide you on his path, because he may be leading you to a place of help.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Little Thaddeus was born with multiple disabilities, and one day, when his mother came to check on him, she got quite the scare. There laid Thaddeus, limp and unconscious in his crib. The paramedics responded quickly to the 911 call, only to take little Thaddeus to the cemetery. Confused, the mother followed, not knowing why her son was being rushed to such a morbid place. But you see, the cemetery was the only place in town without trees, and there, the flight helicopter could land. Fortunately, little Thaddeus survived his near-death experience, but it goes to show us that sometimes, it does feel as though God were leading us toward a wrong place – a cemetery – when in reality, that place is one of help. So today, let God direct your ways; let him guide you on his path, because he may very well be leading you to a place of healing.
