Every heart longs for home – make the Word of God your home, a place you love to dwell!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and not long ago, I drove by the house in which I grew up. I would have loved to have seen the inside, but no one was home. But driving away, I realized my heart was no longer there, ’cause home really is wherever your heart resides, and so, for me, home is where my husband Ken Tada is, not where my childhood was. Every heart longs for home. It’s why people call heaven home, and the Word of God as home. Colossians says, “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly.” God’s Word should find a dwelling place, a home in our hearts, and we should live in it richly. Much like the old house in which I grew up, the Word should be a restful sanctuary, a place where you love to dwell. So grab a Bible, flip it open today, and welcome home.
