If you’re in a dead-end situation, don’t run away from God because simply put, you have nowhere else to go.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And I pray for a great many people who struggle daily with chronic pain – I call them my Pain Pals, and we even contact each other regularly to share our prayer requests. The other day one of the pals shared that she had come to her wit’s end. No pain medication, no position in bed, no homeopathic treatment and no surgery had helped. But she was far from despairing. Proof of that was the powerful reminder she wrote from John 6:68 where Simon Peter says to Jesus, “… ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.’” It’s true for my pain pal, and it’s true for you. Please if you are in a dead-end situation, don’t run away from God. Don’t turn your back on him. Don’t head in a different direction. Simply put, you have nowhere else to go. So, trust anew in the one who has the words of life eternal for you.
