You don’t have to feel ready. As a believer, God calls each of you to lead and influence others through your actions and faith.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada asking, Are you a leader?Perhaps you think you’re too young. If so, 1 Timothy 4 says, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and purity.” Or maybe you feel that you’ve only been called to serve, and not to lead. But Matthew 20 says that “…whoever wishes to become great, must first serve—just as Jesus did.” Or you may think you don’t have what it takes to be a leader. Well, Moses, David, Peter they didn’t seem up to par, yet God chose them to lead. Get the point? Christian, each of us is a leader; whether we recognize it or not; admit it or not; we are [by our attitudes and actions] influencing somebodyand often a great many some bodies of whom we’re not even aware. So today, walk in God’s Word—and in so doing, you’ll be leading others toward godly living.
