Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And recently, Ken and I were reminiscing about our wedding day—remembering how delicious our wedding cake tasted, and how I wheeled over my wedding dress! When Ken and I took our vows on our wedding day, we were completely clueless as to what marriage with a disability would entail. And to be honest, we have faced many challenges. With my quadriplegia, chronic pain, and recent battle with cancer, our lives have not gotten any easier. But time and again, Ken and I have experienced the truth of Isaiah 40, where God says he’ll give strength to those who grow tired and he’ll increase the strength of the weak.
