Breathe a prayer and inhale the goodness of God today.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and having a cold when you’re a quadriplegic is not easy! I have virtually no chest muscles, so in order to make me cough it takes the help of two people. Last year, I caught the worst chest cold. When I finally started to feel better, I kept a speaking engagement I had at Azusa Pacific University. During the worship time, I tried to sing along but it was hard. I could not get a good breath. And I knew that in a few moments I would have to speak. So, I prayed. And right then, I heard the lyrics of the worship song, “You’re the breath in my lungs ….” Those lyrics were just what I needed to hear. And as I wheeled up to speak, God infused me with His breath. Oh friend, the Bible says that in God, we move and breathe and have our very being. So today, breathe a prayer and inhale the goodness of God! For your life finds its source, its strength, and its breath in Him.
