It’s impossible to slip through God’s fingers. God goes with you in the busyness of your day and will never leave you for a second.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And there have been times when my life feels so hectic. My inbox is overflowing, the microwave goes on the blink, my day timer is peppered with appointments, my husband is out of town and the sprinklers aren’t working. Can you relate? It’s like God’s off attending some Christian conference somewhere, and you’ve been left in the dust; you’ve slipped somehow through his fingers. Well, friend, I’m here to tell you, you can’t. It’s impossible. Romans 6 assures us that, “If we have been united with him in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.” You are united with him. In fact, being part of the body of Christ, you may well be one of those fingers of his. God goes with you in the busyness of your day, never leaving you for a second. So remember your union with Christ. Remember, his name is Emmanuel – God is with you.
