Come to Jesus today with winsome, wonderful, and child-like faith.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. In the times of Jesus, who was the biggest loser? [No, I’m not talking about the TV show where people compete to lose weight]. I’m talking about Matthew 18. There, the disciples asked Jesus who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven—and his response—children. Back in those days, society considered children the least and the last—lacking rights, needing instruction, and enjoying little-to-no respect. Yet Jesus exalts losers. Whether highlighting boys and girls, or hobnobbing with prostitutes and tax collectors, Jesus was preoccupied with making the losers of this world, great in the kingdom of God. So, if you want to be the greatest, you have to be the biggest loser and humble yourself as a child before the Lord. And take a hint from the boys and girls in your life, and come to Jesus today with winsome, wonderful, child-like faith.
