Always choose God’s path and He’ll fully restore you.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And if you know your Bible, you know that king Manasseh was one evil dude, even sacrificing children to idols right outside of Jerusalem! Thankfully, God sent the Assyrians to destroy Manasseh. The king of Assyria bound him in shackles and led him away to Babylon in chains. As a result? Second Chronicles 33 says that Manasseh not only humbled himself but humbled himself greatly before the Lord. And when the Lord saw this, he brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and restored him to the throne. Friend, if you’ve been going your own way and you feel the heavy hand of God’s discipline on your life, humble yourself today. No, rather, humble yourself greatly. Say no to your willful temptations; get rid of your old way of living; choose God’s path. For when you do, God will restore you. And you will be all the better for it.
