Oh, the things the Savior will tell you when you have some “alone time” with him. Find a time today to be completely alone with Jesus.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Most of us don’t like to be alone. We enjoy the company of friends; we turn on the nightlight for our children; we spend the holidays with families. But wonderful things happen when you are alone with God. I mean, look at the biblical record: Abraham was alone when God spoke to him about becoming the father of a nation. Moses was alone when the Lord revealed himself through the burning bush. The apostle John was alone on the island of Patmos when he received revelations from Christ himself. And Mary was alone when the angel brought her the message that she would give birth to the Son of God. So, if today you need direction or help or hope, find some “alone time” with Jesus. And when you’re there, alone with your Savior, oh my, the things God may well tell you. And it often and only happens when you’re alone, completely alone, with him.
