God can heal your physical problems, but it’s the healing of the heart that Jesus desires most; a heart that trusts in him. So don’t let your heart be troubled – Jesus is at work.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada with a story about Sally who has a rare bone disease. It results in frequent breaks to her bones, and recently, she fractured both her legs – X-rays then showed that her arm was broken, also. This means no more crutches or walkers for Sally. From now on, she’s got to use a wheelchair. She recently told me, “Joni, it’s not easy hearing that I have to be grounded to a wheelchair. But you know what? I feel whole and healed because my heart is at ease.” Yep, whether you use crutches, a walker, or are in a wheelchair, it’s the condition of the heart that matters most! Psalm 147 says that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Yes, God can heal your physical problems – but as with Sally – it’s the healing of the heart that Jesus desires most; a heart that trusts in him. So don’t let your heart be troubled; Jesus is at work.
