Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When he was a little boy, Daniel would love volunteering with his parents at our Family Retreats. Even back then, this kid stood out. Now, years later, Daniel attends a Christian College and is involved in student government. Recently, he wrote me that the school was not going to let the student council display an American flag during a Veteran’s Day ceremony. What?! Daniel had to do something. So, he contacted newspapers and veterans’ groups, and it did not take long until that flag was flying again. Because of Daniel’s courage, he’s gained a voice on campus. “Joni,” he said, “in all of this God has opened doors for me to share His love and Gospel.” Wow! My young friend is a good example of 2Chronicles 15 where it says, “be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.” A reward awaits for you, too, if you dare to be a Daniel.
