Make use of your time and lead more people to Christ today.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and recently someone said, “I wish that Jesus would come soon. This world is filled with so much suffering and pain – I just hope he doesn’t delay much longer.” You know, at one time or another, most of us have said that [or at least, thought it]. But there’s s a very good reason God is delaying the return of His Son. Second Peter 3 explains why; it says, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise [to return], as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” Look, if Jesus had come back 50 years ago, you’d never be saved! And in the same way, there are thousands of people who are coming to Christ right now, all because, thankfully, He’s delaying His return. Friend, God does not want anyone to perish. So, let’s make use of this time by leading more people to the foot of the throne.
