Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Suffering always prompts heart-wrenching questions: like, if God is good, why would He allow so much pain in my life? Is God truly sovereign over terrible accidents, or does the devil set the world’s agenda? And where does a person struggling with a life-altering illness find peace of mind and a purpose for living? Well, you know, when I used to struggle with those very questions after my diving accident, God brought wise Christian friends alongside me to help me discover how life-transforming God’s word could be. And from there, I became a living testimony of Jeremiah 15, “When I discovered your words, I devoured them.
