Spend time with Jesus and others will notice!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada with a story on courage. Actually, it’s from Acts 4. Just as the Jewish leaders are about to have two of Jesus’s disciples arrested, it says “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” Did you hear that? Courage comes when you have been with Jesus. And people take note of it. They can tell you’ve been with the Lord. There was something about Peter and John, and there is something about you when you abide close to the Savior. Others cannot help but notice the imprint of something divine in your life. They see your contentment in the face of a big trial; they see your peaceful response and, yes, even your courage, and it says to them “this person really knows Jesus.” So, spend time with Him and others will take note.
