God cares about your suffering and sees you.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And have you ever thought, does God care about my suffering? Is he even concerned about my plight? I wondered that when I became a quadriplegic. As I lay there in the hospital ward during the late, dark hours, I would wonder does God even see my pain? Perhaps you’ve asked yourself the same. Your husband has left you, the doctor says its cancer, or your only child was killed in a terrible car accident. And you feel so invisible. Like, does God even see me? But God does see. In Exodus 3, the Lord says, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people…I have heard them crying out and I am concerned about their suffering.” Friend, those words are for you. God cares.
