Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Abandoned at age two, little Ivan who has cerebral palsy, lives with his grandmother and siblings. In the countryside of Uganda where they reside, no one—no relatives, neighbors, no church members—no one had ever visited them. It’s why when our team of Cause 4 Life interns and ministry partners learned about little Ivan, they made sure to pay a home visit to this family, bringing blankets, lanterns, and prayerful encouragement. In Matthew 25, Jesus addresses those who will inherit the kingdom of God. And he tells them, “For I was hungry and you gave me food…I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me.” Friend, there are thousands of families with disabilities who are lonely and in need of practical [and spiritual] encouragement. Will you be one of those who clothe, feed, and visit them? Go to joniandfriends.org and learn how you can help today.
