Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When it comes to making decisions in life, there can be a lot of pressure from parents, friends, coworkers; you wonder what people will say or think of you. And then there are your own doubts and expectations. Well, whenever I feel like I’m in a crux, I turn to the example of Mary, the mother of Jesus. In John 2, we read that Jesus, and his mother were attending a wedding in Canaan in Galilee. The wine had run out, and no one was sure what to do. The host did not want to look bad; sooner or later guests would begin to wonder what was going on. So, what does Mary say? After going to Jesus for help, she says to the servants in verse 5, “Just do what he tells you to do.” And what great advice for us all, right? Jesus says in John 14, “All who love me will do what I say…” Great words from our Savior. If you love him, just do what he says.
