Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and many Christians don't see God in their trials. If no miracles are happening – like, the floods aren't receding, or the cancer is not in remission – then they think God must not be at work. Ah, but if only we could see how God runs the world from behind the scenes. There he is – exploiting Satan’s worst escapades, delicately balancing weather systems across the globe to assure the arrival of the seasons, making your heartbeat without you even thinking about it. Those are miracles! As Jesus told doubting Thomas in John 20 right after the resurrection, he said, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; but blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Friend, it takes faith to realize that our almighty God is moving miraculously in our lives every day – even when we don’t see or comprehend his ways. So today, count on his miracles!
