Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Most parents will do anything for their children. Like Wang, a Chinese woman with a back tumor who took the risk of paralysis when she and her husband set out to have a child. Unfortunately, the doctor’s prediction was correct: as her child grew within her, Wang slowly became paralyzed. Without a wheelchair, Wang was not able to fully care for her baby. But all that changed when our Wheels for the World team fit Wang into her first wheelchair. With a smile, she said, “Thank you for giving me this joy of being a complete mother. Thank you for the new life you have given me today.” Wang knows firsthand that sacrificial love is the greatest love of all, and so she opened her heart to Jesus.
