Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and I love the way our faith works with our actions – powerful things happen when we ‘put feet to our faith’ through our deeds of kindness. Like James 2:26 says, “As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” As Christians, we need to demonstrate as well as declare the love of Christ. We need to portray Jesus when we proclaim him. We need to show the difference he makes when we tell others about him. It’s what makes faith come alive! It’s the whole purpose behind well, Wheels for the World. Because when we give wheelchairs to needy, disabled people, we are showing them how practical Christ’s love is. We want to show that he not only gives hope, but hands-on help! And that’s something you can do – you should do today as a Christian.
