Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And this past summer, a small team from Joni and Friends delivered eight pediatric wheelchairs to a facility in Tanzania which rescues children with disabilities from abandonment and witchcraft. Linda, who runs the home, is especially protective of four albino children who live there. That’s because many albino adults and children are kidnapped and then their limbs are amputated and sold for a high price on the black market as ingredients in potions said to give the user wealth and good luck. But we must fight against these horrors and abuses. We must do as Ephesians 6 tells us and “Put on the armor of God and take a stand against the schemes of the devil.” Join me, would you, in praying for the albino and disabled in Africa and then, visit my Wheels for the World page to learn how we are reaching out to those affected.
