Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. My friend Susie volunteers at one of our Joni and Friends respite programs where she works with Jun, a boy with autism. Well one weekend, little Jun’s grandmother was visiting from China. It’s not often that Grandmom gets to spend time with Jun, so she decided to stay with him at the respite program while his parents enjoyed some free time. And, oh, when this grandmother from China saw the unconditional love that Susie poured out onto her grandson, well, she ended up opening her heart to Jesus! Friend, you can be a light to this dark world, just like Susie. And as Matthew 5 says, we need to let that light shine, so others will see our good works and give glory to God.
