Make the most of every opportunity to share the Gospel with those around you.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and every year, I receive hundreds of letters from listeners like you over the radio. Well, there’s one letter I want to share with you today. It’s from Marlene, a grandmother, widow, and caretaker of her 91-year-old mother. She wrote me: “Dear Joni… When my grandchildren were young, we ate breakfast every morning, listening to your radio program. Later, three neighbor children joined us for breakfast, and after listening to you, we would pray for people with disabilities. This was our morning ritual – and each one of those children made a commitment to Christ.” Wow! Marlene is a living portrayal of Titus 2, setting an example to her grandchildren and her neighbors’ kids. Yes, Marlene is even an example to me! And I hope that she will be to you, too. Let’s make the most of every opportunity and give the future generation an example to follow.
