Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. For Mauricio who has spina bifida and lives in El Salvador, going to public school was torture. He was often ridiculed because he had to drag himself, scooting on the floor from class to class. A private school offered free tuition for little Mauricio, but there was one condition: the child must get a wheelchair. But that was an impossibility. Mauricio felt he’d never be able to go to school. But Matthew 6 says our father knows what we need before we even ask. And through Wheels for the World, we were able to give Mauricio a new, pediatric wheelchair [complete with its own little desk]. I tell you, that little boy was so grateful, repeating time and time again, Dios te bendiga. Gracias. God bless you, thank you.
