God knows you and loves you no matter what.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and today, if you feel unloved or alone; if you feel God is far off, I want you to remember something J.I. Packer once said. He wrote, “What matters supremely is not the fact that I know God, but the larger fact which underlies it – the fact that he knows me. Isaiah 49 says that I am graven on the palms of His hands. I am never out of His mind. There is no moment when His eye is off me, or His attention distracted from me, and no moment when His care falters. There is unspeakable comfort – the sort of comfort that energizes you – in knowing that God is constantly taking knowledge of me in love and watching over me for my good.” That’s a wonderful quote by J.I. Packer and so, friend, remember God can never be disillusioned with you in the way you might be disillusioned with yourself. For He knows you and loves you no matter what.
