Whatever your situation, God will provide everything that you need – he promises to provide for you.
I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and sometimes when a caregiver gets sick, or one of them unexpectedly cancels, I could easily become anxious and wonder, “Okay, like, who’s going to help Ken with me and all of my needs tonight?!” But I choose not to give in to anxiety. When I am without help, I picture myself as a football being passed off laterally to some running back that I cannot even see. I don’t know who’s going to carry me to the end zone and safety, but I have utter confidence that no one will drop the football. Somehow, some way, God will send someone to help, maybe a friend or a neighbor, to assist with my needs. And so, God will provide; he promises that. So, as the football, I will not be dropped, because Deuteronomy 33 says that underneath of me are God’s everlasting arms. And you know what? God never drops the ball.
