Episode Summary

Every morning, plead your need for grace before God – he will give grace to see you through the day.

Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. The Bible tells us that when the Israelites wandered through the wilderness, they ate manna for 40 years. It was something God kept giving and giving and giving again. And it was necessary for them to gather the manna fresh every morning before it could disappear in the heat of the sun. Now there’s a lesson here, because you and I need grace in the same way. Lamentations 3 says that “The Lord’s loving kindnesses never cease; His compassions never fail; they are new every morning.” Okay, so you’re not like the Israelites wandering around in a desert, but you may be going through a real wilderness experience. Remember, friend, when it comes to grace, fresh and new, God is ready to give, give, and give again. So don’t forget, go to him early tomorrow morning and plead your need before him. Grace he’ll give to see you through the day.
