God’s grace will go beyond to rescue you each and every time.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And as I look back on my life – especially my years as a quadriplegic – boy, am I ever so mindful of the grace of God. I have been saved out of so many awful things – double pneumonia, depression, bladder problems, stage 3 breast cancer, pain –but hey, I’ve made it! I was saved out of these things. And it’s why Acts 15:11 is my banner; it says, “We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved.” That’s right, thank the Lord I’ve been saved. Oh yes of course, “saved” as in my salvation, but the grace of God goes beyond to rescue us time and again from all sorts of things. Because for every storm on the horizon, for every detour up the road, for every pitfall in the path – God will save you through it, whether here on earth or up in heaven. And it’ll be his grace that rescues you each and every time.
