Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When little Fred was born with a severe disability, his parents rejected him. Leaving him under the care of his grandmother. Fred’s grandmother must go and work out in the fields of Africa, which means little Fred lays on a straw mat for hours, alone at home. This little boy needed a wheelchair. And so at our Wheels for the World distribution, ourteamof physical therapists took great pains to fit him to the exact right chair. But that wasn’t all Fred and his family needed; they needed Jesus. They needed his compassion, his love, and his strength to overcome hardships. Philippians 4 says, “God will supply every need of [ours] according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” So, will you please join us as we help meet the many needs, physical and spiritual, of those with disabilities?
