No matter what you’re going through, God’s grace is sufficient for you.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And as a child and teenager, I loved to paint and draw. But when I was injured in a diving accident, all of that changed. Art, for me, was no longer a wonderful exploration of limitless creativity. No, paralyzed from the shoulders down, I was suddenly confined with something I had never faced as an artist: my limitations. I couldn’t use my hands; instead, my teeth clenched the paintbrushes. My weak neck muscles tired easily. But through prayer and friends who came by my side, I discovered that 2 Corinthians 12 was true: God’s grace was sufficient for me. Today maybe you are experiencing physical limitations, and you feel like you can’t do the things you once were able to do. Believe me, there are still many ways in which you can stay involved in life, have fun, and yes, be creative. We’ve got ideas for you on our Resource page at joniandfriends.org.
