Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and you know what? I love maps! You can stick me in front of a map on the wall and I'll be happy for hours. Could be a map of the states, or a map of the world – it doesn’t matter. So, what is it with maps and me?! Well I remember on road trips when I was little, Daddy always let me help read the roadmap – I guess I just loved knowing the way. I wanted to have at least some idea of the destination. But most of all, I enjoyed the adventure of the journey. You know, that’s why I love reading the Bible. You talk about a road map – you pick a verse, any verse, and you're on your way. When you read God’s Word, he is a light to your path. And even Jesus said, “I am the way.” So, pick up your Bible and let him direct your steps. God’s got a fantastic destination in mind [with lots of rest stops] so what are you waiting for? Hit the road – the straight, and narrow road to Jesus Christ, and It’ll be a journey you’ll never forget.
