Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. There’s a road sign near our house – it’s one of those yellow signs with a squiggly arrow pointing ahead. It’s a reminder that the road is about to twist and turn, but that’s okay, the road will take you where you need to go; it’ll get you to your destination. And you know, the Bible posts in its pages a lot of those yellow signs. We are warned when there’s danger up ahead. We are told to hold on to God’s hand when the road ahead is dark. We are reminded that the road of life is filled with pitfalls, ditches, and a lot of potholes. But Psalm 119 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” So, friend, if your life feels like one of those squiggly arrows right now, find not only comfort for your troubles, but find direction and guidance in the Word of God. It is your lamp that’ll take you where you need to go. And it’s a light for your path.
