God promises to guide you continually through life’s wilderness. He’ll never leave you to navigate it alone.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And remember in Exodus when God became disgruntled with his people and their grumbling? He told Moses that he would not go through the wilderness before his people but instead would send an angel. But that’s when Moses pleaded, “Oh, Lord, if you won’t go before us, then we’re staying put.” Moses prevailed; and God personally led his people through the wilderness. And it’s been the same way ever since. Friend, it’s a wilderness out there, and please don’t think God has left you on your pilgrimage to an angel’s guidance – no, your earthly journey is far too important to leave it to mere angels. Isaiah 58:11 assures that “the Lord shall guide you continually.” God will not merely guide you sometimes, but all the time. You need never wander in circles. Just stay hot on the heels of your Lord, and his guiding hand will always lead the way.
