You have a God who delights to meet your needs, so be sure to tell him yours tomorrow when you wake up.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and I need help. No, really, I do! Every morning when I wake up, I feel the desperation of my needs. I need help with bathing, dressing, getting out of bed. And that’s just the beginning of the day. It seems that I never get out from underneath all my needs. My quadriplegia has made me a very needy person. And this is why Isaiah 41:10 is one of my favorite promises. Because every day, God says to me – me, personally, when I’m really feeling the crunch of my disability – he says, “Joni, do not be afraid, for I am with you. I am your God, and I will strengthen you, I will surely help you; I will uphold you with my right hand of righteousness.” Wow, I love that verse. So, friend, I’m so glad – aren’t we all – that we have a God who delights to meet our needs. So be sure to tell him yours tomorrow morning when you wake up.
