Tune in to hear Joni share some encouraging words for you from the Lord in Isaiah 46.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and the worship team at my church is made up of some pretty young people – but not all of them are millennials. The man up front who adds harmony and plays a set of bongos – his name is Len, and he’s 91 years old, and he uses a walker. It is so heartwarming to see him hobble up on stage, pushing his walker up to the microphone. And, hey, he does great harmony and keeps a really good beat! My point? You are never, ever too old to serve the Lord. And I’m not talking about just making music; I’m talking how inspiring Len is to us all. And that right there is a wonderful service in Christ’s kingdom. So, if you are getting up there, remember, God has some pretty encouraging words for you in Isaiah 46, “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you.” Those are great words for any senior!
