In His Hands

Episode Summary

You may not see through the fog of feelings but remember – God is always there.

Episode Transcription

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And if you’ve ever camped at the base of Mammoth Mountain high in the Sierra Mountains in California, you know that Mammoth is huge! So much so, that if you sit there at the picnic table and look over your shoulder—Mammoth Mountain takes up your entire vista. But if you happen to be there on a damp morning, it’s amazing how then, you can’t see that mountain at all. It’s as if it disappears; all you see is fog! In the same way, there are many mornings when troubles cloud your vision like a thick fog, and you just can’t see the bigness of God. But Psalm 95 says, “In his hands are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.” Oh, friend, if the Lord holds Mammoth Mountain in his hand [and he does], you best believe he holds you even more securely. Remember, you may not see through the fog of feelings, but God is there. And that’s something to celebrate.
