Every day, whether you realize it or not, you’re influencing others by your attitudes and actions—so be a leader and set an example by doing good.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. If you’re like me, you can look back to elementary school or high school and pick out, oh, maybe three or four teachers who really influenced your life. Or perhaps it was a coach. Or your youth leader at your old church where you grew up. Whatever, these are the people – the leaders – that have changed our lives, right? But it doesn’t have to be a teacher or a coach or a pastor. Each of us is a leader, whether we recognize it or not. You might not think so, or even be aware of it, but you are influencing somebody – perhaps a great many somebodies. And you are doing it every day by your attitude and actions. The Holy Spirit tells us in Titus 2 to set an example by doing good. So, remember, friend, others are watching. They are looking to see how you, a Christian, will respond and react. So be a leader and set an example by doing good.
