Be inspired by the example of this elderly couple in Thailand. Remember, God's love always endures.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And once while distributing wheelchairs and Bibles in Thailand, we met an elderly couple named Udong and Anong. Two years before, the husband, Udong, suffered a massive stroke that left him paralyzed and unable to speak. Ever since then, his wife, 70-year-old Anong, had been caring for him single-handedly – lifting him, carrying, bathing her husband, all with no help, no time off and no complaint. It’s little wonder that Udong and Anong so readily embraced Jesus that day we shared with them the Gospel and fitted Anong to his wheelchair. Psalm 136 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever.” Today, friend, be inspired by the example of this elderly couple in Thailand. God's love alwaysendures – so find a way you can show the love of God to your spouse – and keep Udong and Anong as your example.
