Pray to God and ask that He reveals something to you today.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. When US astronaut Jeff Williams was on the space station, there were times loneliness was overwhelming. Once, when Jeff was only six weeks into a six-month stay, he shared his discouragement with his wife. She prayed, asking God to bring something into Jeff’s day. That same morning, he floated over a window and saw the snow-covered peaks of the Aleutian Islands. Looking closer, he realized one of the peaks was an erupting volcano. Jeff was ecstatic! It was such a rare sight; he could not believe his eyes. Such an answer to prayer! Friend, if you are overwhelmed with loneliness, ask God to give you a tangible sign of His presence. Acts 14 says that God does not leave us “without evidence of Himself and His goodness.” Evidence of God’s greatness is all around us. So, ask God to reveal that to you today. It will be an answer to prayer.
