Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And I love the verse in Psalm 30 that says, “Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” It’s a verse that comes to mind whenever I remember little Maisy Grace who I met at Family Retreat. Maisy was born with complex medical problems, including skull abnormalities and life-threatening problems with her heart. For the first two years of her life, Maisy lived in a hospital without the benefit of a caring family. Her situation seemed hopeless, but God had a plan: Maisy was adopted into a loving, Christian family. And now? Every morning is full of joy for Maisy Grace. And it’s such a delight to serve special-needs families like Maisy’s at our Family Retreats. So, help us bring the joy of Jesus to kids with disabilities like Maisy.
