Seek out the Lord and discover joy.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada and life is rarely full of total bliss. In fact, it can be hard and painful. But as a follower of Jesus [and I say this from a wheelchair], there is a source of total joy. Even when life is hard. And that joy is found in the Lord of joy; at any time, your heart can literally tap into a reservoir of utter gladness and rock-solid joy. And the words in Philippians can help get you there! Just look at chapter 4, where it says: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: rejoice!” Remember, when the Apostle Paul wrote that his bones were old, thin and frail, and he was in prison. Yet he didn’t drum up gladness by human effort; no, rather his joy was in the Lord. And there are so many things about the Lord that bring delight. He really is ecstasy beyond compare and His joy is worth any amount of pain and hardship. So, seek Him out today and discover joy in the Lord.
