Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. According to the World Health Organization, 8 out of 10 children with disabilities live in developing countries. Children like Alejandro. When he was born with a disability, his parents fell to their knees in despair. In the country of Cuba, poverty presses down hard and medical help is scarce. It’s why we were so pleased to not only bless Alejandro with a brand-new pediatric wheelchair, but to also bless his parents with the encouragement we have received from Christ. And oh, what a privilege it was to hear Alejandro’s father say, “I’m m crying tears of joy because my son is so happy and comfortable.
