Tune in to hear Joni share some good advice from Isaiah 35.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. Living with a severe disability and chronic pain can be so wearing. It’s hard to daily take up the cross and follow Jesus; it’s downright painful. But I draw inspiration from the way Christ took up His cross. Hebrews 12 tells us that because of the joy set before Him, Jesus endured His cross and now He is seated in the place of honor beside the throne of God. I love those words “for the joy set before Him.” I know that just 2 minutes in heaven will be worth all the pain, all the sorrow and tears. Plus, as a coheir with Christ? God has in store for us a place of honor near the throne of God. Oh friend, the finish line is getting closer and Isaiah 35 gives great advice: strengthen your feeble hands and steady your knees that give way. Your God’s going to come and rescue you. And you know what? That glorious day is sooner than you think.
