Take heart, Jesus can always carry your load.
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And sometimes, it sure is hard to move forward, isn’t it? Maybe you’re in physical pain, or feel emotionally drained, you’re at the end of your rope. When I feel like that, I’m always comforted knowing that the love of Jesus toward me can never be exhausted. Just look at Matthew 14 which describes a typical day in the life of Jesus. After a hot, dusty afternoon of preaching to the crowds, Jesus learned the devastating news about the death of John the Baptist. But rather than take time out to grieve, he attends to the needs at hand, feeding 5000 people. Then setting sail, he rescues his disciples when a storm blindsides their boat. By sunrise they reach shore, only to face more crowds. That was 24 hours of nonstop ministry with no sleep, but Jesus kept on giving—and he keeps on loving you. So, take heart: with such a tireless friend as Jesus, you know he can carry your load.
