Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. And the most amazing college students intern through our Cause4Life program. I’m thinking of Michael Panther, a young man who grew up in the jungle of South Sudan during its civil war—all the while living with paralysis from spinal tuberculosis. It seemed all hope was lost for little Michael—but an American medical doctor saw his potential, helped get him through school, and today? Michael has graduated with a degree in Economics from Louisiana State University. And his dream? To one day become president of South Sudan and make a difference for people with disabilities in his country! Wow!
