You have so much to look forward to – heaven is going to be never-ending joy!
Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. You know, the Bible paints some pretty wonderful pictures of just how joyful we’ll be when we’re finally at home in heaven. Like in Malachi 4; God says, “But for you who fear my name, the Son of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Can’t you just picture that?! I remember when we were raising little calves on the farm, and every spring when they were released from the pen into the pasture, those little guys would bounce around, straight legged, so excited to be free. And just think, that’ll be us one day. And if you happen to be disabled like me, Isaiah 35 paints an even bigger picture where it says the lame will leap like deer. Hey, whether we’ll leap for joy like a little calf or a happy deer, you can be sure of this: the joy will be never-ending, hallelujah!
